I got a call friday that I never could possibly imagine that I would recieve. Right now I can't really seem to talk about it, but for my loved ones I feel the need to let them know I may be unavailable for a while. One day soon perhaps I maybe find a way to express my feelings and memories, for now though feel free to check out my sister's blog who has a much better knack for writing than myself: http://agwylyk.blogspot.com/
Much love to all and remember to live life to the fullest with the most love you can!

OMSI Birthday

We had a great time at OMSI celebrating Quinn's big First Birthday! Can you believe it my baby is one?!
Quinn and I picked Ryan up from school (after Sears pictures, which I'll post later) and got there into time to party for one hour. Quinn loved the infant ball pin, but the chipmunk's acorns were the best. Ryan tried to spread the interest in birds with the Eagle Nest- but Quinn didn't find this nearly as interesting as the Forest tunnels and Acorns. We also had him all set to play in the water part, but Quinn thought it would be better to drink it than play with. So when closing time came we finished up with the ball machine and headed over to the Cheesecake Factory.
Quinn celebrated with bread, bananas and his favorite Mac-n-Cheese. Then while Ryan and I split a delicious lemon-raspberry cheesecake Quinn gobbled up his own sundae with a candle even (sorry to full to get pics. but Quinn does love his ice-cream).
It was a great evening that wore Quinn out enough to sleep the whole night through- Yippee!

Happy, Happy Birthday!

Can't believe it! My baby is One year old! He has had his first bath, his first food, his first trip, and his first steps. Crazy how the time flies by and you know that before you blink your taking him to school. He is such an incredible blessing and even for all the trouble he can get into he still has the greatest laugh and adventuresome spirit. He is his daddy's little Basketball buddy and his Mommy's little music star. At least I have slown him down enough that we are saving our first tooth and our first haircut for next year. To one candle down- Happy Birthday Sugar!

For the Birds

On Tuesday we went to the zoo with Ryan's Habitat Maintence Class. It was fun for Quinn, he is getting alot more interactive with the animals. And while we were there we got to feed the Lorakeets in Lorakeet Landing. THey are pretty birds and Quinn loved it when they flew close by. Unfortunately one the those stinkers gave me a pretty good bite on my right pointer finger. Oh Well. We still love the Bats!
Sometimes you have to say "Whatever"

Yep. Mr. Destructo. If you notice we also have to keep a large box of wipes on the toilet so he can't play in the water when Mommy is getting ready. And yesterday somehow he learned the babylocks on the sink cabinet while I was in the shower and then later figured out the baby gate to get down the stairs.
Sometimes you just have to say fine go for it, I'll clean the mess up later!

Oh No. . .
There he goes!
It's hard to believe, but he is almost walking all by himself. Scary I know.
